Archive - Fund Raiser

The details are in the final stages on ISHP's upcoming fund raiser for Hollywood Heart.  Neil Locke (Neil Locke & Assoc) and David Shulman (Project Dynamics, Inc.) have designed a new format for our evening event which will happen during the 2009 HD Boutique in Miami Beach.  The Sunday evening, September 13th event will present an environment where the vendors have face-to-face time and one-on-one interaction with hospitality specifiers.  I have included Neil and David's mission for this fine event.

For the past 9 years ISHP has raised over a million dollars for Hollywood Heart an organization that provides summer camping experiences (Camp Pacific Heartland)for children affected and effected by HIV/AIDS as well as the opportunity for inner city children to make movies (The Movie Team).

In the past years we have joined together at a cocktail party whose overall mission was not only to raise money for these children…..but provided a great venue for interaction between purchasers/designers/specifiers and vendors.  It truly brought capitalism and altruism together.  This year with times as they are...we have changed the format to "Meet and Greet the ISHP".  It is somewhat modeled after speed dating and featuring short meetings directly between our vendor partners and purchasing agents/specifiers.

Please use the following link to watch a two minute video about the camp and the great results we have helped to create through previous donations...

The specifiers are admitted into the evening event for free.  We have reduced our vendor donation this year to $1500 net per person.  As you know, it is in times like these, the needy get needier and AIDS does not care about the economy...these children especially need our help more than ever before....

All specifiers and vendors RSVP with one of the following forms to Neil Locke ( before attending the event.
